Donations and Supporters

Please support our Grassroots Literature Fund

As a charity, we need your help to continue our support for creative writing and reading programmes in communities. By making a donation to our Grassroots Literature Fund, or choosing to give regularly, you are making a vital and positive contribution to improving the lives and aspirations of the communities in your area.

Our Case Studies show how far your donations can go to have a fantastic impact at a very low cost. Also, every donation made to Literature Works gives us the opportunity to match that funding with investments made through the Arts Council England’s Catalyst Programme and from our local business sponsors, friends and supporters.

If you'd like to become a Literature Works Champion, we're happy to send you a fundraising pack, simply get in touch. You can download sponsorship forms and blank event posters here.

Every £1 you donate will make a big difference. Please help us to invest back into your community by choosing one of the options below – and Thank You from the whole Literature Works team and the people we support

Our Grassroots Literature Programme works with communities in need around the South West by giving people of all ages access to reading and writing activities. We give awards under £1000 to help community groups cover the cost of resources, writers, events, talks, workshops, venues, travel – anything that enables people to enjoy the benefits of books and writing.

To help us continue to support this vital work, please text 70070 with the message BOOK22 followed by the amount you wish to donate, for example BOOK221 to donate £1.

All the funds we raise for our Grassroots Literature Programme go directly to the community groups who most need it. Reading and writing increases life skills, communication and social interaction – it reduces isolation and helps people open their lives to new developments. Help us make a difference today by texting any amount to our campaign –  every £1 you give will make a huge difference to people’s lives.  Thank you.
